School Based Services

Still Waters Consulting Group offers a variety of professional development sessions for special program educators, regular education educators, administrators, paraprofessionals, support staff and other key personnel to increase their capacity to effectively educate, equip, and empower students with various mental health and health disabilities. Examples of professional development sessions are:

    • Working with Students with Attention Difficulties
    • Working with Students with Severe Behavior Problems
    • What is Executive Functioning and How Does Deficits Impact Students?
    • Behavior Plans and IEP goal Development
    • How to Interpret Functional Behavior Assessment results
    • Trauma-Informed Practices in Schools


Still Waters Consulting Group also provides school-based mental health services to students that present with emotional or behavioral concerns of varying severity. Services include an individualized and developmentally appropriate approach to implementing evidence-based models of interventions. Therapy is provided in individual, family and/or group modes and seeks to foster positive overall well-being for students. Still Waters intervention models are also designed to increase students’ ability to focus and learn in the classroom as well as decrease the incidence of serious behavior problems. Groups include:

    • Social Skills group for kids 7-12
    • Social Skills group for kids 13-17
    • Stress and Anxiety Group (by gender groups)
    • Independent Living Skills (e.g., resume, interviewing skills, and money management)


Still Waters Consulting Group specializes in Functional Behavior Assessments and other psychological and psychoeducational evaluations, as requested. Additionally, Still Waters Consulting Group offers a variety of consultation services from our staff of mental health and health professionals. Whether it is starting a new academic intervention program, educating students on vaping, or assisting regular education teachers with classroom management, the Still Waters staff can help you meet your organizational goals.


Still Waters Consulting Group is excited to offer a unique school-based primary care service utilizing the Whole School, Whole Community, Whole Child model. Our clinicians will collaborate with students’ community-based primary-care provider, families, and other key stakeholders to offer evidence-based and developmentally appropriate services. Services will also include health promotion and wellness education services around topics such as:
