Ms. Shuna Thomas

Shuna L. Thomas, RN, PPCNP-BC, APRN

Ms. Shuna Thomas is a nurse practitioner and owner of Hammonds Harmony Care. Ms. Thomas specializes in treating individuals with neurodevelopmental delays and physical disabilities. Ms. Thomas offers a wide-range of primary care options for children, adolescents, and young adults who may present with a number of acute and chronic illnesses. Ms. Thomas conducts a number of health promotion seminars and trainings and serves as our health consultant for all school-based and community endeavors.







Khiela Holmes, PhD, Licensed Psychologist

Dr. Khiela Holmes

Dr. Khiela J. Holmes received her Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from the University of Alabama-Tuscaloosa with a specialized concentration in children. She completed a two- year post-doctoral fellowship in the Department of Psychiatry at the University of Michigan. She is the owner of Shalom Wellness Services, LLC. Dr. Holmes provides therapy and psychological assessment services to individuals ages 6 to 25 with symptoms related to trauma, anxiety, depression, ADHD, and behavioral difficulties. She also works with families to establish stronger bonds and healthier ways of relating. Her primary research interests include cultural variables, trauma and adverse childhood experiences across generations, aggression and disruptive behaviors, and the intersection of mental health and faith. Dr. Holmes also has a specific interest in leading organizational change efforts to create trauma-informed systems of care.

In addition to providing specialized clinical services and conducting research, Dr. Holmes is committed to professional service through national and state-level psychology organizations such as the Society for Clinical Child and Adolescent Psychology Diversity Committee, Arkansas Psychological Association, and the Arkansas Association of Black Psychology Professionals.  



Dr. Alexis Davis

Alexis M. Davis, PhD, Psychologist

Dr Alexis M. Davis hails from Kansas City, Mo. Dr Alexis M. Davis has been trained as a Clinical Psychologist, Reiki Master, Divine Healing, and is currently enrolled in Root Psychology at The Institute of African Centered Thought to be certified as a Root Psychologist. Furthermore, Dr Alexis Davis has deemed herself as a HipHopologist as she weaves Hip Hop with the liberation of the psyche of Africans in America and across the Diaspora. Dr Alexis Davis is the founder of BBLVK Jewel which is a community organization that aims to highlight the jewels in the community serving people of African descent. BBLVK Jewel’s podcast is currently in its second season. Be sure to go check it out on all streaming platforms (apple, Spotify, SoundCloud, etc.). Dr Alexis Davis provides professional and personal development training on Cultural Humility, Working with Clients of African Descent, Hip Hop Healing workshops, as well as workshops on transgenerational trauma and healing among people of African descent.



Mrs. Charmaine Beasley, LPC


Charmaine Beasley, LPC, Licensed Professional Counselor

Charmaine is a Licensed Professional Counselor with a Bachelors  degree in Psychology and a Masters degree in Marriage, Couple, and Family Counseling. She is the co-owner of H.E.R. Counseling and Wellness where she provides individual, couple, and family counseling.

Charmaine provides professional trainings, speaking engagements, and workshops on a variety of mental health topics. She also does consultations with companies and non profit organizations.






Jasmine Bishop, LPC, Licensed Professional Counselor

Ms. Jasmine Bishop, LPC


Jasmine is a Licensed Professional Counselor practicing in the state of Arkansas. She has a Bachelor’s in Psychology and a Master’s in Clinical Mental Health from Henderson State University. She is the therapist and owner at Olive Tree Health where she provides individual and family therapy for adults and teenagers. 

Jasmine Bishop LPC

Jasmine is passionate about all things mental health and is an expert in trauma and anxiety. She boasts training in EMDR, TF-CBT, tech-assisted therapy, and the Trauma-Conscious Yoga Method. She is one of the few therapists in the state offering people of color trauma and anxiety-based services with the cultural nuances they deserve.

In addition, Jasmine has worked in many settings including outpatient, school-based, substance abuse rehab, day treatment, and residential settings. She deems it an honor to help hundreds of individuals and families find freedom and healing from the toughest situations in life. 

Jasmine Bishop

Aside from sharing her giftings with the world, Jasmine is specially equipped to partner with many different types of programs. Those programs typically address at-risk youth, substance abuse, trauma-informed education, wellness or medical providers, urban communities, restorative justice, and foster and adoptive programs. She provides businesses, churches, and other organizations with the tools needed to improve mental wellbeing, retention, character building, communication, management skills and cohesiveness, leadership, and improve outcomes for clients and staff.  





Rhonda Mattox MD

Rhonda Mattox, MD, Psychiatrist

Rhonda Mattox, MD is a board-certified physician with decades of experience in direct patient care and teaching. She serves as an integrative behavioral health psychiatrist and mental health consultant to primary care providers by day. Prior to that, Dr. Mattox  was an instructor at the University of California-Los Angeles (UCLA) and most recently an Associate Professor with dual appointments in the Department of Family Medicine and Psychiatry at the University of Arkansas Medical Sciences (UAMS). There she served as an integrative psychiatrist consultant and taught family medicine physicians how to integrate behavioral health into primary care. 

Dr. Rhonda is a gifted storyteller with a transformative message who also serves as a world changer by night.  Her undergraduate and medical training at Arkansas finest institutions and fellowship training from the National Institute of Mental Health, Robert Wood Johnson Clinical Scholars Program and American Psychiatrist Association have led to her becoming one of the nations "go to" psychiatrists in healthcare. She has become a highly requested featured keynote speaker and graced national medical platforms including the National Medical Association, American Public Health Association, and the American Psychiatry Association among others. Local audiences have appreciated her quick wit, charm, and wise counsel while she served as co-host and executive producer on shows ranging from the edgy "Ask the Doc" call in radio show with co-host Broadway Show to Take 5 with the Physician and Impact Zone on Arkansas' gospel stations. Her expert commentary has been quoted in national popular media like Cosmopolitan, Money, Huffington Post, Psych News as well as academic journals. 

Rhonda Mattox

Dr. Rhonda has been called the E. F. Hutton of healthcare because when she speaks, people listen. From Hollywood to Capitol Hill, she has been behind the scenes consulting in medical media, research, and state and national health policy. While working at University of California-Los Angeles (UCLA), she began assisting New York and Hollywood's award winning writers and executive producers (from 902010; ER; Brothers and Sisters and other popular sitcoms) in the development of accurate, non-stigmatizing portrayals of mental illness within Hollywood's story lines. She has also served as a content expert and health policy advisor to state and federal agencies (like SAMHSA and HHS) and elected officials (including the former Dean and longest serving member of the United States House of Representatives Congressman John Dingell III). 

Dr. Mattox uses her personal and professional platforms to amplify the voices of transformative leaders and to encourage healthy lifestyles. As the host and executive producer of the weekly radio show IMPACT ZONE on REJOICE 103.3 FM and 105. 5 FM, she invites inspirational medical professionals to reach people wherever they are across Arkansas' airwaves. She is a creative force that enjoys helping professionals "get over themselves" and their propensity for "paralysis by analysis" to realign their life and work with their core values and passion for profit. In that role, she enjoys helping people pivot from pain to purpose and profit.
